Sister Cities International will host a conference call for all members to discuss and review the proposed bylaws for consideration at the Annual Conference. Mayor Brad Cole, chair of the Governance and Bylaws committees, will present the Bylaws as they have been proposed for change by the Board of Directors. Members of both committees will also be on the call to answer any questions.

At the Membership Meeting on July 19, 2008 at the Kansas City Conference, the members will be asked to approve revisions to the Bylaws and Articles of Incorporation. The Board of Directors' Governance and Bylaws committees, under the chairmanship of Mayor Brad Cole, have been working on these changes and edits for nine months in coordination with the full Board of Directors. At the March Leadership Meeting, the Board of Directors approved both documents for consideration of the membership. The Board of Directors recommends that the members approve both documents as proposed.
